Welcome to Clans of the Amazon, an RPG based off the wonderful book series written by Erin Hunter known as Warriors. Here, there are four clans who live in a different kind of forest: the rainforest. Humans have gone extinct now, but they previously destroyed this beautiful ecosystem for their own selfish greed. Patches of the rainforest were left, and the clans formed in and around these patches. They emerged as Great Jungle Clan of the rainforest, Great River Clan of the Amazon, Great Air Clan of the meadow, and Great Fire Clan of the forest. They all have special qualities about them, and they all protect each other from a gang of great cats known as the Wild Cats, who have been and still are trying to kill off the great clans. Can you join the rainforest?

A beautiful tortoiseshell weaved her way through the rocks surrounding a small clearing where the sun constantly shone. Her pelt immediately caught the son's rays and made her shiver in delight. She had come alone early in the morning to get the first morning rays. What a beautiful day it was already turning out to be.
She easily launched her petite form onto one of the rocks, her paws immediately warmed by the smooth hard surface. It'd already been warmed by the sun, and so when she spread her long body out on it, it warmed her skin, making her purr in delight.
Berryleaf had checked in with her mother early in the morning but she had been busy with herb gathering, so she let her be and went off on her own to relax a bit before she was called back to her clan life.
Being alone, she allowed the memories of her dream to fade back into perspective, trying to decipher the meaning. She had recognized her sister, who had brought her a message. Her sister, Speckledpaw, murdered by a badger, was a beautiful silver tabby, and it made Berryleaf's heart ache as she realized the life she could have led. "Open your heart, dear Berryleaf. Remember every cat is meant to be loved," she had said before whisking away.

Goldstripe had just done a quick run around the territory. The sun had already risen and he had left before sunrise had even begun! He came upon the sunning rocks and decided he could get a little nap in the shade. He had been out for a while and he was beginning to get tired, in his defense he was out patrolling all night, so he deserved a little rest. He picked his way in between the rocks and lied down near the largest one, making sure the cool shade was cast over his whole body.
"This is the perfect spot, maybe just a ten minute nap..." he purred out before resting his head down on his paws. He let out a yawn and closed his eyes. I do deserve this nap, especially after patrolling all of the borders, he thought to himself. He liked to believe he was truly a rebel but all he really wanted to do was help his father and make sure nothing was running amok on their clans' territory. Having no clue he had company he stretched himself out and dozed off.

Berryleaf stretched her limbs, opening her eyes and glancing around her surroundings. She felt extremely lazy today and as if she could lay there forever. He tail flicked slightly, curling in and out in content. The beautiful she-cat's pelt looked glossy and sleek with the sun seeping into her fur.
Berryleaf's ears immediately pricked as she heard pawsteps. Her green eyes opened and scanned the perimeter, soon finding her best friend Goldstripe padding through oblivious to her. Her tail flicked mischievously and she slowly, silently got to her paws.
Ever so quietly, Berryleaf sprang to another rock, keeping low. She leaped from rock to rock, her long, elegant body making the jumps very easy. As soon as the she-cat landed, silently, on the rock he laid beneath, she readied herself before launching on top of his unaware body. Berryleaf fastened her teeth gently into his scruff, giving a hiss.

Goldstripe had just closed his eyes and all of a sudden there was a weight on his back and another cat hissing at him! He sprang up, breaking free of the enemy and leaped onto the nearest rock, giving a hiss of his own. He peered over the side of the rock only to see Berryleaf at the bottom. "Why on earth did you do that to me Berryleaf? You could have killed me I was so scared!" he meowed with a strained voice.
Surprises. He did not like surprises one bit. Surprises topped the list of things he didn't particularly enjoy along with fish, fire and the wild cats. Is she trying to kill me? he thought, or is she just completely oblivious to how scared I would be; if that had been an intruder I could have seriously hurt them. I'm glad it was her though but I'm afraid that if I didn't know I could have hurt her too...

Berryleaf rolled over onto her belly and snickered, licking her paw. "Oh, hush, Goldstripe! I can handle my own, and it's not like I bit your tail off, drama queen!" she teased, rolling onto her belly. Her green eyes were bright as her tail curled and uncurled. She was in a good mood, the beautiful day making her emotions soar.
Berryleaf then looked sobered up a bit, then looked guilty. "I'm sorry, Goldstripe. I didn't mean to upset you," she apologized, ears flicking. The she-cat got to her feet and nudged him with her muzzle in a friendly manner. She sat down for a minute to groom her fur.
Berryleaf began wondering if she had to be assigned to a patrol. Things had been pretty lax lately though, so she doubted they needed more than two cats for the patrols, and maybe an apprentice. [/size]

Goldstripe leaped down off of the rock to meet Berryleaf. "I know you can handle yourself and I'm sorry for snapping at you," he purred, "but you know I don't like surprises and that was one surprise I did not see coming." Well of course I didn't see it coming, what a stupid thing to say, it was a surprise, that's the point, he thought.
He nuged her back, sitting down once she started grooming herself. He copied her movements and began to wash himself as well. Once he was finished and noticed that Berryleaf was finished he moved towards her and nuged her playfully onto the ground. He stood over her and looked down. "So what has you in such a cheery mood today that you just had to scare me half to death?" he asked. He then sat down and twitched his tail, waiting for an answer.

Berryleaf smirked and pushed him off playfully, rolling back onto her paws and shaking out her pelt. She playfully shouldered past him towards the small stream that weaved through the Sunning Rocks. Lowering her apex, her small pink tongue flicked out to lap up some of the ice cold water. She savored the clean taste before turning back to Goldstripe, her tail waving in the air.
"I was visited last night by Speckedpaw," Berryleaf purrs happily, staring at the ground with a soft smile etched into her face. "It's been so long since I've seen any of them I thought maybe the visions had stopped." She recalled how for the past moon or so how grumpy she's been because of that very reason. Her mother had assured her that it was normal for the visions to come and go.
Of course it was a rare happening, Berryleaf's visions. It was not common for regular warriors to be visited by their starry ancestors. Berryleaf often had to remind herself that instead of being angry and hurt that she hadn't had them in a while, she should be grateful she ever had them at all.
The breathtaking calico settled down next to her best friend, sighing. "I miss them so much," she whispered, referring to the numerous family members whose every death she had witnessed. She buried her face into Goldstripe's pelt, trying to comfort herself with the familiar scent of him.
