Welcome to Clans of the Amazon, an RPG based off the wonderful book series written by Erin Hunter known as Warriors. Here, there are four clans who live in a different kind of forest: the rainforest. Humans have gone extinct now, but they previously destroyed this beautiful ecosystem for their own selfish greed. Patches of the rainforest were left, and the clans formed in and around these patches. They emerged as Great Jungle Clan of the rainforest, Great River Clan of the Amazon, Great Air Clan of the meadow, and Great Fire Clan of the forest. They all have special qualities about them, and they all protect each other from a gang of great cats known as the Wild Cats, who have been and still are trying to kill off the great clans. Can you join the rainforest?

Amazon River
The might Amazon River. It harbors Great River Clan, supplying them with plentiful fish and water. Where they're camped, the width of the river is about a mile. Kits are not allowed to venture here whatsoever, and apprentices cannot visit the river unless accompanied by a warrior. It's very dangerous due to all the predators lurking in the murky waters. The river floods annually for three moons during the season of greenleaf.

Thicker Jungle
Great River Clan is a thin forest. That being said, forest prey is scarcer than it could be. Not every cat in Great River Clan is a skilled fisher, either. Thankfully, the clan has marked a thicker jungle as a part of their territory. More tree-dwelling prey resides in this jungle, and it's a place to stay dry during times of heavy rain or fatal floods.

Narrow Streams
Branching off the Amazon are many smaller rivers, and branching off those rivers are hundreds of narrow streams. Great River Clan uses these many streams as a source for safely hunting small prey away from piranhas and alligators as well as drinking without having to worry about falling in and never resurfacing. They're much closer to camp than the Amazon River is, too, making it easy for elders, pregnant queens, and kits to drink.

The River Basin
Great River Clan lives very close to the Amazon River. Their territory is not as densely populated with trees as Great Jungle Clan. It is actually rather open, very wet and marshy, and less like a rainforest than one would imagine. However, the farther away from the river and streams you get, the more trees you'll find. Great River Clan uses those trees for protection during the flooding season.
