Welcome to Clans of the Amazon, an RPG based off the wonderful book series written by Erin Hunter known as Warriors. Here, there are four clans who live in a different kind of forest: the rainforest. Humans have gone extinct now, but they previously destroyed this beautiful ecosystem for their own selfish greed. Patches of the rainforest were left, and the clans formed in and around these patches. They emerged as Great Jungle Clan of the rainforest, Great River Clan of the Amazon, Great Air Clan of the meadow, and Great Fire Clan of the forest. They all have special qualities about them, and they all protect each other from a gang of great cats known as the Wild Cats, who have been and still are trying to kill off the great clans. CONSTANT
The Amazon Rainforest experiences a dry season and a wet season, unless very close to the equator where there are no seasons. The part of the rainforest where this takes place only experiences one season. Rain is frequent, temperatures are high, and humidity levels are high as well.

This will take place in a little while, once more members have joined. Not only will you get your name up here for a whole month, but you'll also get a prize of 15 points! Members who have proven themselves as a great addition to the site will be chosen for MOTM, characters who have been role-played frequently and greatly will be chosen for COTM, and couples who have shown their love will be chosen for CoOTM.

Suffering Forest
The Suffering Forest makes up a great portion of Great Fire Clan's territory. It flourishes all year, shining green, abundant with prey, and providing a plethora of herbs. For a day or two, however, this forests suffers a severe fire that burns it all down. A week of rain follows, allowing the forest to regenerate and settle the newly found ashes deep into the soil. These ashes are a great fertilizer and help the forest flourish.

Ashen Meadow
A rather small meadow, the Ashen Meadow is abundant with tall grass. It resides not far from camp, and it is easily distinguishable by its towering, vibrant green grass which can hide a full-grown, large cat without trouble. Old Reliable is situated in this meadow. It's more of an area for safe play rather than hunting. Apprentices are taken to train here every once in a while, kits to play, and it's a common romance spot amongst the cats of Great Fire Clan. Kits are typically born here, too.

Old Reliable
The only place safe from the dangerous forest fire, Old Reliable is a large sycamore tree and marks the point farthest from the Suffering Forest. While their cave is a trustworthy spot to stay during the time of fire, most of the Clan is taken to Old Reliable to remain safe from the angry flames. The fires would never reach this far, and Great Fire Clan looks at it as a gift from MoonClan.

The Charred Lands
Annually, this land suffers a small fire during the time of the flood of the Amazon River. It only lasts a day or two, and is followed by a week of rain. The ashes are then planted into the soil, making it fertile, and letting the forest regrow. It's a difficult time, but it truly has hardened Great Fire Clan cats. The result of these annual fires makes a flourishing forest, only to be engulfed in flames at the climax of its regrowth.
