Welcome to Clans of the Amazon, an RPG based off the wonderful book series written by Erin Hunter known as Warriors. Here, there are four clans who live in a different kind of forest: the rainforest. Humans have gone extinct now, but they previously destroyed this beautiful ecosystem for their own selfish greed. Patches of the rainforest were left, and the clans formed in and around these patches. They emerged as Great Jungle Clan of the rainforest, Great River Clan of the Amazon, Great Air Clan of the meadow, and Great Fire Clan of the forest. They all have special qualities about them, and they all protect each other from a gang of great cats known as the Wild Cats, who have been and still are trying to kill off the great clans. Can you join the rainforest?

CONSTANT
The Amazon Rainforest experiences a dry season and a wet season, unless very close to the equator where there are no seasons. The part of the rainforest where this takes place only experiences one season. Rain is frequent, temperatures are high, and humidity levels are high as well.

This will take place in a little while, once more members have joined. Not only will you get your name up here for a whole month, but you'll also get a prize of 15 points! Members who have proven themselves as a great addition to the site will be chosen for MOTM, characters who have been role-played frequently and greatly will be chosen for COTM, and couples who have shown their love will be chosen for CoOTM.

Camp
Great River Clan's camp is surrounded by small streams and rivers. There are many fallen trees and rocks that provide a great place to make dens for the cats. Their dominant camp is stationed on a raised hill, while they have a secondary camp that they migrate to during the flood season.

Flood Retreat
The flood retreat is the highest point in Great River Clan territory. The trees are easy to climb in and are connected in such a way that it makes a secondary camp. During the dormant months, the flood retreat is a great place to train. During the flood months, the flood retreat becomes the temporary camp for Great River Clan.

Treetops - 1 Viewing
The treetops are the highest part of the flood retreat. They are a safe place away from certain predators to relax so long as you know how to climb confidently. Kits and apprentices are not allowed up here, even with the accompaniment of a warrior. It's simply too dangerous to risk their lives when they don't know or are just learning how to climb.

Raised Forest
The raised forest is really just a small hill decorated with a few trees on which Great River Clan has situated their camp. The hill saves them from sudden, small, and off-schedule floods that the cats weren't expecting. The retreat for the annual flood is farther off, and for a good three moons, Great River Clan moves their camp from the raised forest to the flood retreat.
