Welcome to Clans of the Amazon, an RPG based off the wonderful book series written by Erin Hunter known as Warriors. Here, there are four clans who live in a different kind of forest: the rainforest. Humans have gone extinct now, but they previously destroyed this beautiful ecosystem for their own selfish greed. Patches of the rainforest were left, and the clans formed in and around these patches. They emerged as Great Jungle Clan of the rainforest, Great River Clan of the Amazon, Great Air Clan of the meadow, and Great Fire Clan of the forest. They all have special qualities about them, and they all protect each other from a gang of great cats known as the Wild Cats, who have been and still are trying to kill off the great clans. Can you join the rainforest?

Cloudfeather purred proudly as she walked into camp with a bird nearly her size. She dragged it along by the wing, her long fluffy tail held high in pride. It'd been a few moons since shed caught a bird, it was nice she guessed to be able to catch them again.
Dragging it into the prey pile she stretched, her white fur shining and glossy in the sun. She looked up and smiled a cat-smile, it was a nice day. She'd be even happier if it was possible to rain without the dark ominous clouds, but she preferred the sun anyways.
Walking over to a boulder she agilely hopped atop it, licking her side to clear her fur of any burrs,"My, what a wonderful day it has been so far...", she purred happily. Her voice was honey-sweet as she glanced around and rested her chin on her paws.

Purestar sat up in his den and gave himself a quick washing with his tongue. He could already see the light of day streaming in through the entrance to his den. He brushed out into the camp and did a quick stretch before looking around. Spotting a freshly killed bird on the fresh-kill pile, he gazed around wondering who had caught it. It was then he noticed Cloudfeather laying down on a rock nearby.
He strolled up to her, "Nice catch, I'm assuming it was you because you're the only one here at the moment. That bird is almost as large as yourself!" He sat down next to her and continued on, "What a nice day it is. I could feel the warmth of it from my den!"
He was happy to just have another cat to speak with. It's always nice to be met with a friendly face first thing in the morning, he thought to himself. I wonder how the fields are looking today...

Cloudfeather glanced to her leader and nodded, purring a little louder at his compliment,"You would have caught better Purestar.", she spoke truthfully. He was larger and therefore a bit stronger than she, his pelt also helped him blend.
She stretched and nodded in agreement,"It is quite nice. The sun always help to get your blood going as does a hunt. I've been hunting quite early as of late, its nice. Less noise and not many cats to run into.", she said and tilted her head slightly.
Cloudfeather looked him over, he looked caught in thought like a fish in a stream. Deciding it best to be silent she rolled onto her back, giving her chest a few licks of her pink tongue.

Purestar purred at the she-cat's compliment. He loved hunting and over the years had gotten a great knack for it, he always made sure to go out and hunt at least once a day, every day, no matter what. It could be pouring rain or stiffling heat but he would always be out hunting.
"I know what you mean, it's usually quite difficult to hunt when there are so many other cats out and about looking for prey as well. I generally try to go out when most cats are in camp; it is always nice to have some peace and quiet when you're hunting!" he said, turning his head toward the entrance to camp.

Cloudfeather nodded and chuckled quietly,"Exactly. Hunting is also a good time for thinking...", she meowed. She stood to stretch, her tail going stiff behind her for a moment. As she lay back down on her side on the warm rock her tail curled and uncurled in contentment. She sighed and closed her eyes. "Perhaps I can show you where i hunt so early the day, if you like hunting with few other cats like myself then I can say its really quite nice.", she purred and then opened her eyes to look at him.
She smiled a cat smile and glanced back at the entrance,"Now perhaps? Most are still asleep and its to early for a formal hunting patrol.", she said and pushed herself up so she was sitting in front of him. Being small the top of Cloudfeather's head barely reaching his chin when they were both sitting or standing.

"That sounds like a good plan, I could use a run through the meadow right about now..." replied Purestar. "I'll just have to set up the hunting patrols when we return but until then, I wouldn't mind a good hunt!"
He stretched once again, making sure he was ready for a run, he didn't want to hurt himself by over-exerting this early in the morning, the sun had only risen a short time ago. He was amazed that Cloudfeather had even been out already. She must have been out at the crack of dawn, he thought. He looked at her and motioned his tail toward the entrance, as if to say 'after you.'

Cloudfeather stood and stretched again, feeling her spine arch with her and stretch out, pulling tension off the vertebrae. She nodded and trotted towards the entrance, looking back to make sure he was with her. She laughed quietly and shook her head,"Your so enthusiastic Purestar.", she said as she crossed the entrance.
Stopping she looked around, scenting the air as she stepped out of camp. Today was going to be a good day, she just knew it. Times are hard with the Wild cats always around but things will always get better.., she thought, not nervous about having any run ins with other clans or a Wild cat at all.

Purestar closely followed Cloudfeather out of camp and into the meadow. He stopped at her side as she scented the air, he did so as well. The morning air was always the best because the dew on the grass from the humid nights gave the meadow a particularly fresh scent.
He kneaded his claws into the ground and gazed around his clan's territory. Today is going to be a great day, he thought, it just feels as if nothing could go wrong. The birds were singing and there was a very gentle breeze which helped to keep some of the sun's warmth off of his pelt.
However he knew there was an all too real threat, there was more than one actually. Three other clans and a tribe of wild cats and you could get one very bad day, a day he was not looking forward to but knew it was inevitable. In his mind all he could think about was, when that day comes, my clan will be prepared to take on whatever comes our way.
When he looked over he noticed that Cloudfeather had stopped scenting the air, he thought he had better say something. "Well, lead the way, I'm looking forward to this hunt!" he purred.
